Innocent Zizamele Hlongwane:
(00:17) My name is Innocent Zizamele Hlongwane, from eMthwalume. So as time went on I began my schooling I think it was 1985, that when I started. As I began my schooling no one was working. Before I went to high school, while I was in standard 5, my father died. As I got to grade 12 it was difficult even just going to school was difficult, sometimes I would go to school on an empty stomach. That’s was not easy, but thanks to my mother who preserved I managed to study and complete my studies, unlucky that I failed matric.
(01:35) I went to Durban to go searching for greener pastures and to assist my mother. Then Claudio came to me, He said Innocent would you like to come to me and work together? I said that this is very important to me to work with you.
Claudio:
(02;07) My name is Claudio, I’m heading the Rugani section. We are the biggest carrot farmers in the country, in fact in the southern hemisphere. Innocent has been with me going for five years. Innocent has been in industry for 23 years, we need a lot more Innocents in this country, honest, hardworking, always on time.
Thobile Ndlazi:
(02:39) Hi my name is Thobile Ndlazi, I work for RSA group located in Durban. I’m an HR administrator, and we help employees grow within their roles. So we we’re working with Innocent on the learnership called Generic Management.
(02:57) We would like to thank the company, Edge Training for providing support and quality service to Innocent. I would also like to thank Innocent for being dedicated and loyal and committed to his work. So we would like to thank him for that. We would like to thank management for giving him this chance to complete this learnership. Thank you.

(03:23) And on those days I think that was 2023 last year, I think that was April or May Thobile phoned me saying Innocent would you like to do some course to upgrade your knowledge? I said yes, I can do it.
(03:55) I came here and they told me you have to learn a Generic Management Learnership, I said ok that’s good. Then one day I joined the guy that is called Vuyani Masuku he was a teacher for my side. That course is very important because it’s teaching you how respect people, how to do the sales with your customer, how to manage your business, how to control the staff from your business.
(04:49) For my future, I like to have my own business, that business would be a fruit and veg business because I know all the fruits, I know how to handle the fruits, I know how to do the business, I know how to handle the customer. Edge Training trained me how to handle the business, how to do the business, how to manage staff.
(05:25) So I’d like to thank Edge Training for everything that they did to us, then I like to thank RSA Group for this opportunity that they giving us, I have to thank RSA from the top. So I have to thank all of them with a big thanks. Thank you.
