Siphokazi Koyana holds a B.A. from Smith College, Massachusetts, an M.A. from Yale University, Connecticut, and a Ph.D. from Temple University, Pennsylvania, USA. She was the first post-doctoral fellow in the Humanities at the University of Pretoria and has taught in the English Departments at Rhodes and Wits Universities. She has published in local and international literary journals.
Koyana’s expertise in the Skills Development and Training arena grew out of her experiences as an instructor in numerous and diverse skills training programmes in local and U.S. tertiary institutions as well as from her years as a manager in government. She has worked as a consultant in Human Resources, focusing on Diversity Management, Mentoring, Business Writing, and Employment Equity Solutions among others.
